A Roundtable Discussion on Infertility

Listen to the founder of Fruitful, a reproductive endocrinologist from Mayo Clinic and a professional psychologist discuss the emotional trauma of infertility on Minnesota Public Radio.

On Friday, August 11, 2017 I was honored to be featured on Kerri Miller’s Roundtable Discussion on MPR News to discuss infertility.

While many of us know and understand how challenging infertility can be, this was a great opportunity to share the emotional struggle with listeners who may not have experienced it firsthand.

Below you can listen to this hour-long conversation hosted by Kerri Miller with Dr. Elizabeth Stewart (chair of the division of reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Mayo Clinic), Linda Hammer Burns (a licensed psychologist and associate professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School) and myself. It’s a dynamic discussion about assisted reproductive technology, the emotional aspects of infertility and how friends and loved ones can best support their friends who may be struggling. Enjoy!
